Some helpful information about our weddings and functions

Can I have a private viewing?

Yes, we highly recommend it! All inspections to view The Hideaway are by appointment.

Appointments are available from 1pm-6pm Wednesday to Friday and 10.00am-5.00pm on Saturdays. Appointment availability is subject to our wedding bookings. Appointments are not available on Sundays.

A link to our appointment calendar will be emailed to you once you have requested our wedding packages.

Is my date available?

Please contact us directly to check if your date is available. If you have indicated a chosen date in your package request, we will confirm if this is available or not.

Is the booking fee included in the package price?

Yes, the booking fee is included in the overall package price. This is not an additional cost.

Please note that the booking fee is strictly non-refundable, as are the progessive wedding payments after the payment date has passed.

What are your minimum/maximum guest numbers?

Our Full Wedding Package includes meals for up to 60 guests. You may have less guests attend your wedding, however this won’t alter the package price. Our weekday weddings have been discounted account for this. Our maximum is 100 guests.

Our Classic Wedding Package includes meals for up to 30 guests, and you can have up to an additional 20 guests attend at a per head price (5o maximum).

Please contact us for minimum guest numbers for other functions.

Is accommodation included?

Our onsite accommodation package is an optional add-on for the night of your wedding. We can accommodate up to 14 guests onsite, including the Honeymoon Suite for the newlyweds.

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am.

Can I get ready at the Hideaway?

Due to our other wedding and function bookings, we cannot offer our onsite accommodation the night prior to your wedding or the morning of, and therefore there is no option to get ready onsite. We can recommend some great local accommodation options for you to get ready in.

Do you offer ceremony only packages?

We don’t offer ceremony only packages, however we do offer an all-inclusive 5 hour Classic Wedding Package, which is for 30-50 guests. This is a great option for couples looking for a more intimate wedding celebration.

Do you offer reception only packages?

Our packages are all-inclusive, allowing you to hold your ceremony and reception in the one beautiful location.

If you would prefer to hold your ceremony elsewhere and have just your reception at the Hideaway, the venue hire is reduced to 6 hours and the overall price is discounted by $300. This applies to our full wedding package only.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

No, Hideaway Weddings is a licenced venue. All alcohol must be purchased from Hideaway Weddings and be consumed within the licenced areas. BYO alcohol is strictly prohibited and we recommend that this is noted on invitations.

Can we provide our own catering?

No, Hideaway Weddings has a fully licenced commercial kitchen.

External catering, including food trucks are not permitted.

Can my wedding cake be homemade?

Local health legislation requires all food, including wedding cakes, to be prepared in a licenced kitchen by a licenced cake maker, and we will request to sight such certification.

Is there a wet weather option?

Yes, our function room can be rearranged as a wet weather option.

Are dogs/pets allowed?

Yes, dogs are certainly allowed for the ceremony (they are family too!), you will just need to ensure that they leave before the reception begins.

What are your closing times?
  • Sunday to Thursday Weddings: 10:00pm finish
  • Friday & Saturday Weddings: 11:00pm finish
  • Sunday to Thursday Functions: 8:30pm finish
    (unless all accom. is booked for function)
  • Friday & Saturday Functions: 9:30pm finish
    (unless all accom. is booked for function)
