Proposal Story
After four and a half years of fun and laughter together, Glen designed the most beautiful ring for Michelle and proposed at the Byron Bay lighthouse at sunset on July 26th, 2019.
What does marriage mean to you?
The official seal that unites two people who would do anything and everything for each other, and a bond that cannot be broken. Two people who genuinely want to grow old together and cannot see a future without the other person.
Why did you choose The Hideaway?
Not only have we discussed the option of making the town of Beerwah our future home, but it’s also a big part of our past with Michelle’s mother Rita growing up on a pineapple farm just a stones throw away from the venue, and Glen’s mother Jane growing up in nearby Maleny. We heard about Hideaway Weddings through family living nearby, and upon inspection of the venue and meeting the team, we knew we were onto a winner!
